Brooks Wagstaff started singing at a very young age; in fact, she signed herself up to sing in a talent show in kindergarten, where she sang Jesus Loves Me. Once her family realized she could hold a tune, her mother immediately immersed her in the performing Arts. She began choral singing in the 4th grade at Reid Park international Academy. She then moved to Zimbabwe and joined the Harare International School vocal ensemble in the 5th and 6th grade. She attended the American School of Yaoundé where she was a member of the High School Choir for two years, finally being awarded the Performing Arts Award her Senior Year. She performed in the schools Musical production of “GREASE” where she played Rizzo. Kween also has a talent for song writing; her first song was written in the fifth grade called "I'm a princess.” Years later she has gone on to write and shoot videos for "Run Away With Me, "On Your Marks" , "Only one , "Music ( Give it to me)", as well as her newest single "Had enough". Kween is also a former student of Bennett College for Women in Greensboro North Carolina, where she studied Theatre and Music. She was also a member of the Bennett College choir under the direction of Valerie Johnson. While matriculating she was brought under the wing of Rasheem Kilo Pugh, co-writer of "The miseducation of Lauryn Hill". She now lives in Roxboro, North Carolina and is an artist at Rooted from the Soul Studios.
